Please include the family, friends and co-workers of Heidi Meyer in your prayers. Some of you may have seen on the news the story about the Bentonville teacher who passed away suddenly at work on Friday (www.4029tv.com/video/17210285/index.html) - that was Heidi. She was only 36 years old. Her husband, Donovan Meyer, and her brother, Bret Bottomley, were classmates of mine at Eureka Springs High School. Donovan and Heidi have a two year old daughter, Avery.
Heidi and Bret lost their mother, Alice, after a long, hard battle with cancer just after Avery was born. The family is still recovering from that loss, so Heidi's passing will be very, very hard on them. (Heidi was her mom remade...she looked, sounded and acted like her and she was a school teacher like her.)
Another classmate of ours, Stephanie Lane, is also a teacher at Bentonville Schools. She worked with Heidi and was there when she died.
All prayers for this family will be greatly appreciated.
